Overview
"In 1994, I started exploring game code using Norton Commander, identifying variables and uncovering hidden features to mod my own version of Street Fighter 2 Rainbow Edition. My curiosity led me to modify games like Wolfenstein and Doom, learning basic coding skills from old books on C++ with OpenGL. In 2001, I made my first game using Gamemaker—a Pac-Man style game featuring a character named Ja-Rom, who collects gold guarded by tribal stone-headed monsters.
In 2005, I had the opportunity to choose between Crave Entertainment and Activision. I chose Activision due to their reputation, spending five years leading a team and later joining the elite Technical Requirements group, where I gained hands-on experience with nearly every game the company produced. Despite my success, I transitioned to a role outside the game industry that utilized my technical skills in a new context but eventually returned to my passion for gaming, co-founding WiNF Studios with an industry partner. We created several games, took on various clients, and expanded our knowledge of the game business. Over time, I've covered roles in Operations, Story, Music, and Design—embracing the multidisciplinary nature of Game Development."
